Ive worked on only Boeing aircraft my whole career (C-17, KC-10 (they merged with McDonnell-Douglas), and the KC-46). In my civilian career, I work for one of their defense competitors, just not in the aviation sector. --- If you're not getting promoted, it's not because you're not good at your job.
