Reason it isn't legal is your house isn't your own in that law enforcement and emergency services must be allowed un-booied trapped access at all times. Also to prevent someone innocent from getting caught in it like a little kid.

Imagine if your house caught fire and the fire department went in to stop the fire and hit a landmine or above poster shotgun trap.

In this situation I was thinking more like youd boobytrap an out-of-the-way entrance to your house that might be vulnerable to robbers. Law enforcement and medical people would use the front door
