Ah, thanks! I suspected it doesn't sound too different from similar expressions in western countries, but I wasn't quite sure as I don't remember ever actually hearing it said out loud, at least not in a natural unforced way.

Kinda curious about this myself. In my mind it sounds like "kee-ya" and "oo-wa" but that's just a guess.

Heh, nice. I get the feeling I won't be able to unhear that, and think of it every time I encounter such words in the future. OOWAAAH!
