Best Picture Winner-specific rules: There's only 96 movies that qualify for this PLUS Sunrise which won alongside Wings at the first Academy Awards before they figured out what was going on and started only picking one winner. See below for full list. If you go off this list I'll just... not count it, so don't waste your votes!

YESTERDAY: SMB3 and Mario Kart 8 had the closest race we ever had for one of these, staying pretty much tied until they each had 23 votes, at which point the discourse in favor of Mario 3 seemed to take hold and it began pulling away as we got more and more "traditionalist" votes for the Top 4.

Easily the most arguing I have ever seen for a Rushmore. I eventually got to the point where I read "Mario" so many times it stopped looking and sounding like a real word.

Most WTF answer: The people saying Smash Bros. counts as a Mario game. I put "no Smash" as a rule pretty much as a joke, I didn't think people would actually want to vote for it. We all know Smash is a Kirby spinoff.

Also there was a vote for Punch-Out!! and I counted that because it made me laugh
