Firefox, uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger. Tell Orivacy Badger to block any domain with youtube in the name. If you ever get a popup, go to UBO settings and purge cache / update all filters. If this doesnt work, wait about 30 minutes and do it again. Repeat until you stop getting popups. Then you shouldnt get one for 2 or 3 months at the least.

For Android, install ReVanced Manager, then use that to install ReVanced Extended (they also have ReVanced versions of Spotify, Twitch, YouTube Music, etc., if youre so inclined, but at least with the Twitch one I had some audio issues after it worked fine for months and I havent tried the other two).

If you have an Android TV device like the Shield Pro, nstall SmartTubeNext.

For iOS, install Altstore, then find an alternative. I havent done this yet as I dont really want to watch on my iPad anyway.

There's no reason to use revanced, all the firefox stuff worst just as well as it does on pc.
Revanced is chromium based is it's much easier for youtube to mess with its effectiveness.

There's stuff for ublock that's pretty effective, I forget what it's called so just search for "block twitch ads with ublock" and look for the github link.
