i think so. maybe not in a year, but the next few years. the actual job market is strong, but I think there's going to have to be some level of reckoning in the near future. there's only ever been one economic soft landing, it's more likely that a recession will happen. no matter what the lines on charts say, the reality is that a lot of people are struggling to afford food and housing at the moment, and at some point the market will have to reflect that reality.

japan and U.K. are already in recession, China is on the way. might be wise to save some money, just in case.
