Mario 3 took Mario from "Fireflower + Super Mushroom" to "Fireflower, Super Mushroom, Tanooki Suit, Kuribo Shoe, Frog Suit, Raccoon Tail, and Hammer Suit." It also introduced a world map, the modern version of Bowser, gave us the koopalings, thwomps, Boom Boom, the Koopalings. Mario 3 was truly the next step of Mario after Mario 1. Moreso than World, which I'd be more likely to replace than SMB3. I mean most of those power ups got removed again. You could also say World introduced ghost houses, Yoshi, Magikoopas, Wiggles and of course most importantly secret exits and special worlds with more difficulty which feels like a bigger deal than the Bros 3 stuff, although Bros 3 coming first is an argument for that one. --- Guinness Book of World Records is the name of the diary that belongs to azuarc, the winner of the Game of the Decade II guru contest. ...
