Oh and Russell Watson can't sing to save his life!

They tried remixing it in the third season and still failed dismally!

One petition stated that "We wish to express our unmitigated disgust with the theme song that has been selected for the new 'Enterprise' series, it is not fit to be scraped off the bottom of a Klingon's boot."

Actor Simon Pegg, who played engineer Montgomery Scott in Star Trek and Star Trek Beyond later said that he had never watched Enterprise due to the song, which he described as "dreadful soft-rock" and "probably the most hideous Star Trek moment in history".

The song was mentioned in the review of the Enterprise first season DVD set by DVD Talk. It was called "sappy", and the reviewer said that it "never felt appropriate and serves only to undercut the emotional strength of the images on screen".

Ok first no I havent heard it before, see my channel that played the show loved to shrink the credits of shows and play ads over them , so if I heard anything it would have been the last second or so of it, but usually by that time I had changed the channel as the show after it was not something I wanted to watch.

Next I honestly dont care what some reviewer said about the theme, or other fans, as everyone has different taste in things, You can hate it all you want, I just happen to like it.

You know what I hated? The show, I never got past the first season, I hear it got way better, but it just wasnt for me, but I still often tried to catch the theme song as I may have hated the show enterprise I really liked the theme song. I only a few years ago learned of the changed version with different backgrounds and that one I do hate honestly, so I only like the season one version.

It is a sappy song? Well ask most anyone that knows me I often admit to being a sappy person, and have been known to write sappy things, so I guess I like it because I am into sappy things. I am a sap I am not afraid to admit that.

So again if you hate the song, and feel it should be on a list of worst themes ever, great you do you, enjoy/hate whatever music you want as only you know your tastes in things. I am going to continue enjoying whatever music I enjoy even sappy ones, and that includes the season one theme song of Enterprise, a show I didnt like enough to get past said season of.
