In high school, in theater class, we had to do this exercise where we basically came up with a character based on a name and did a few solo scenes as that character over the course of a few weeks. One guy made his character a lumberjack or some such, and for one of his scenes, he brought in a bottle of maple syrup and straight-up chugged it. Watching that gave me some real respect for that guy.

But I'm not gonna lie, ever since that day, thinking about syrup actually makes me kinda sick.
