Heck, while something like the cartoons on the Disney Channel don't have the same mainstream recognition and especially being officially market for kids more than a Marvel or Star Wars movie, despite them being their own (Sans DuckTales, Big Hero Six or Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur which are still good), some people still give them the same hate.
