From my understanding, the modern Red Vs. Blue is really nothing from the old school one. I remember a few years ago they either censored or removed official ways for seeing some episodes from the old seasons because they had some content that made the current staff feel uncomfortable.

For me the original died once they moved to I think it was the Halo 3 world. I thought they just stopped, but supposedly there were like 5 extra seasons eventually. I doubt they are any good but I'll watch them.... eventually.
