My mentioning of Dunes short existence is in response to your statement "LotR everybody has seen them". I'm sure a year after its release many still hadn't seen Fellowship. Of course many ppl have seen LotR, as the movies have been around for 20yrs, like how everyone has seen Star Wars. My noting Dunes success was just putting a feather in it's cap. What it did was an achievement. It didn't have anything to do with LotR. The last part was explaining its current fanfare and bringing back some reality. Do I think Dune will be LotR?
