Topic	If I say "unfunny comedian" who's the first person that comes to mind?

You have to go way back to see how creative he had to be to stay funny without getting "cancelled." When he took his career off-network for his own live audiences, he had more freedom, but that didn't mean he could say or do everything that he wanted to. I know a couple who went to see him live after his last HBO comedy special, "It's Bad for Ya," in 2008. Carlin was in very poor health, but he still "went out swinging" in his last special and his final shows. He used his wit to cut through the crap and say something memorable and meaningful. He also kept doing it long after most other people would have given up. . _Blur_ posted...
