Did they trick him onto the helicopter by telling him there was free cake and pizza on board? My theory is Trump still wasn't fully sure what he could get away with. This was all pre-Jan. 6th before we all saw how far the GOP would go to protect Trump. Now he's not only more spiteful than ever before, he also knows he has the Republican Party completely by the balls to the point where he can openly say he'll be a dictator on Day 1 and not lose support.
