How did you find out? It's a complicated story of how tiny microscopic bleeding in my legs turned quickly into a slow but constant oozing of blood in my nose, and awful bruising all over my body. Blood tests made this worse. This is a condition called immuno thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP). However, ITP's root causes aren't exactly known. The best guesses we have is a critical immune response to stresses. Getting fucking Leukemia would likely qualify, but I also have Diabetes, Multiple Sclerosis, Grave's Disease, and have had a complete thyrpidectomy. So who effin knows? The most fortunate (unfortunate) part is ITP rashes look quite a bit like Leukemia rashes, and I decided to hell with that. THAT PART NEEDS INVESTIGATING FURTHER. Sticking to those guns will have probably done me a lot of favors by the time 30 days in hospital are done. Pay attention to your bodies people. It really could save your life. --- Resident Shiny Hunter of CE 307 Shinys and counting! ... Copied to Clipboard! |
