Yeah this is basically what I'm hearing which is that everyone that didn't watch it (only watched trailers) says it sucks while the people that actually watched it says it's good

Obviously I'm gonna be more inclined to believe the people that actually watched it but idk it's kinda funny lol

I'm also sure that there were people that watched it that still didn't like it but this is just generally what I've noticed

TBH, it is a cut above its competition from low effort studios like Illumination or Blue Sky Studios, but I'll admit my disappointment is that Pixar films are usually a bar above their competition, so when they make "okayish" movies it seems like a disappointment, which another user just said in this topic. The romance is cute, but in a friends kind of way. I didn't really get much chemistry between the two (pun not intended), but the standout is the migrant story since that's where I felt most of the heart and good intention of the movie is from. There's a good chance you'll enjoy it though, it's a low stake movie but I enjoyed plenty of low stake movies like Encanto and Luca as long as it's done right.
