FFXIV Playable Races:

1. Viera - Just perfect in all ways
2. Midlander
3. Highlander
4. Au'Ra
5. Miqo'te - Overrated but still great
6. Roegadyn - Plus points for being more of the niche pick while still being amazing
7. Elezen - Still great but can't compete with the others
8. Hrothgar - Boring furry
9. Lalafell - Probably my least favorite race in any game

Skyrim Playable Races:

1. Nord - I think it is just fun to play TES games as the character in their native land.
2. Imperial - I appreciate their greed and industrialism.
3. Khajiit - Probably would be towards the bottom but punch cat is just too fun of a build
4. Argonian - Lizard people cool
5. Orsimer - Kind of Orc people cool
6. Altmer - I like the arrogant and elitist magical elves the most among all elf types.
7. Redguard - Could be much higher if Hammerfell is the main location of a modern game.
8. Wood Elves - Certain aspects are great like their love of nature and ranged ability but in general seem a bit too isolated and barbaric.
9. Dark Elves
10. Breton - Insane inherited skills in the game but I don't really like them at all.

Rankings based on just how much I like them and specifically in these cases how much I enjoy playing as them in their respective game. Things like what builds you can create with them and what fits what class better also somewhat come into play. Also, how popular they are could be a bit of an upside to another race as being a fun niche pick away from the popular pick.
