I have to disagree with at least some of that. In this day and age, it's very easy to go with the standard MCU formula when making a comic-book movie. Most DCEU movies don't really do that, and while I agree that a lot of them have been trainwrecks, I can't deny that Watchmen and ZS's Justice League were qualitatively great and even relatively original.

Oh, I wouldn't want them to copy the MCU formula exactly, but I didn't care for the direction they went with. I don't 100% blame Snyder either because I have a feeling no matter who was picked, WB/DC would have screwed it up somehow given their track record.

I didn't hate it. Still, my issue is the alien is a better common enemy for mankind to unite against than Doctor Manhattan. How is DM supposed to be stopped exactly? Still a minor issue.
