Become a COA its way fuckin easier AND less stressful than being a pharmacy tech. Its a similar path as well. You get hired on as an OA, learn on the job, take the exam in 6-12 months and become a COA

My being a pharmacy technician is a bit of a technicality now. What I actually do is interview hospital patients about their medication history. I make more per hour than if I were working retail pharmacy. I might be able to limp by for a while on retail pharmacy pay if I lose this job. Or I may have to rent out my spare bedroom for $400 a month to compensate.

I'll have to speak with my manager on Monday to see what she recommends. But this might be the end of my employment at the hospital that I work for.
