It doesn't take two minutes to start up a game on the PS3. It's closer to about 15 seconds from the time you turn on the console, unless we're specifically talking about the 360 and not next-gen consoles in general.
It should also be easy to see the convenience of a console that can play games, movies, and streaming services like Netflix and Hulu with most people's setups. You might be the unique person who connects their PC to their 50-inch HDTV, but most don't!
Seriously. 2 minutes is a ****ing long time to start up a game. That's ridiculous if he's not exaggerating.
