The big issue comes when you have to convert between systems, which is literally only an issue with America. Most people are telling you that Americans are fine with it, if we need to convert, that's our problem. We can deal with it just fine. You can use your Metric System and not convert to US Customary units if you don't want to. Just keep everything in Metric and don't worry about US Customary units. We'll do the conversions when we need to. Why do you feel the need to force everybody else to assimilate to your system? Are you the Borg? Do you need everybody to think and do things the exact same way? When Aliens become friends with humanity, will you try to force the Metric System on them as well?
