I did think about this recently in terms of who had the biggest influence on the Presidency since Theodore and it wasvery negative. In addition to changing Wilson to Arthur, Ill also change Madison to Adams. I just remembered the Election of 1800 and the peaceful transfer of power of two parties. Thats worthy enough.
