As Sony already releases newer games on PC after a few years of their PlayStation release, Nintendo is the only 1 of the "Big 3" who doesn't do this.

As games like Bayonetta 2/3 and Astral Chain would benefit greatly from better hardware to achieve stable 60+ frame rates (they are action games, this should be a given) and games like BOTW have been shown to look absolutely gorgeous in a 4K setting (thanks to emulation for showing this potential) vs just great in the highest resolution available on the Switch, it is a shame that Nintendo doesn't...
A: Release better hardware to achieve this on Nintendo systems.
B: Make a PC port and allow the consumer to be responsible for building a rig capable of bringing out the game's full potential.

Of course, as neither A nor B is being done right now, people who want the games to play the best are in a tough spot. Best solution atm is to buy the games to support the developer and emulate said games to bring out their full potential.

Of course, despite being legal (you own the games, so this isn't piracy), it is still a lot of hoops to jump through, and some people aren't comfortable with emulation period. Also, emulation isn't perfect, so there is that issue as well...and some games are locked at 30 fps and require mods to get around this issue, with no way around the issue for some games (Astral Chain).

As Nintendo doesn't seem to want to sell competent spec'ed game console since the days of the Gamecube and wants to have at least a hybrid handheld option (what the Switch does), the best solution appears to be to allow PC ports x amount of time after a release on the main Nintendo console.

Of course, at this point in time, Nintendo is opposed to that idea, and many games struggle with even a stable 30 fps because of it... Hopefully things change for the better. Otherwise, emulation remains the best solution to get around hardware limitations causing many games to run suboptimally. Just buy the games so it isn't piracy...
