Konami may use the the older build, but have Bloober sent them the current build? Konami made the trailer based on what they have. Now it sounds like Bloober just trying to save face from the bad reception.

I think it sounds like there's no communication between Konami and Bloober, and Konami is trying to get action fans to buy the game, so they used a combat montage as a trailer.

Devs always want to make good games. They're artists. The CEO of a game company publicly calling out the publisher of the game that hasn't released yet is unprecedented.

When things go south with a game, nine times out of ten it's because of the publisher, not the studio.
