The franchise is called Star TREK not Star Standingstill and they brought in The Defiant to try and win back fans of Star Trek and Star Trek TNG who had grown up with the idea that ST was about a Captain on a Starship exploring The Galaxy and not being on a Spacestation not going anywhere! I have given reasons why I think it is the worst Trek series so it seems only fair on some of you telling me why you think it is "the best"! Why do you think that? ~~Tell me did TNG have to change it's original premises? NO!~~ ~~Tell me Did Voyager have to change it's original premises? NO!~~ ~~DS9 had to change everything from it's original premises because it was tanking hard in the ratings!
