i like vr, even if my only experience with it has been a og rift cv1

but i'm not going to drop $500 for an oculus 3, let alone $3500, AT LEAST, for apples thing with far less useful functions than a headset from 2016.

that's without getting into the fact that apple gives you a cover to protect the front plastic, but nothing to protect the lenses. so the part of the unit that is only designed to look cool to people looking at the headset gets protection but the part of it that you actually interact with does not.

that's fucking stupid, and really goes to show that apple doesn't give a fuck about the user experience.they don't give a fuck about what you have to look at, you already bought it. they only give a fuck about what the product looks like to people not using it, because they haven't yet bought it.

but hey, instead of just including a fabric covered piece of cardboard, you can instead by the vision pro travel case for $400 that does have one. you get to pay even more to protect the part of your thing that you need to actually use the device with.
