Not at all, the amount of equipment that goes in, I've seen photographers charge $5k-$10k for weddings.

I know there's post wedding work for the photographer, editing and picking the good pics from the bad, it still doesn't quite add up as being worth $2k work to me, what I make doing 2 weeks of work
When you factor in a days worth of shooting the wedding, then it takes a few more days to edit and get together a portfolio for a client, 2k makes sense. Not to mention your using upwards of $5k+ of equipment to shoot and edit the videos. It's a specialized job.
