The allied powers killed about 69,000 French people in bombing raids during WW2. We weren't trying to genocide the French. Urban warfare against an opponent willing to fight for every inch of ground is terrible. Sure and I dont disagree some people killed in October were collateral damage. What we disagree here is with the numbers.
