I'm from Newfoundland so our typical winters are -10/-15. The coldest its ever gotten was -40 something and at that point we just don't leave the house. We usually stock up at Costco so we never go hungry, though there have been times the power has gone out. I once worked at a grocery store where we had a lady come in wearing a T-Shirt and shorts during a blizzard. She was from northern Labrador where it can get -40/-50 regularly. ...
