I had no interest in any of them or even who Joker was in smash. Throw them on gamepass and I'm now hooked. Gamepass definitly helped of course. But don't you think the fact you didn't know who he was(and I didn't either) helped contribute to the visibility of the franchise? Of course gamepass helped and I think the game won awards, but if it was not for smash, I am not sure I would have known what Fire Emblem or Persona was.
