It isn't a 38% bad, but it's fairly mediocre. It could've been a decent spy flick if they didn't overdo it on the "plot twists". I get this movie is trying to be "meta" when it comes to the spy genre but sometimes too much is too much. This is also one of those movies where the two leads are suppose to have chemistry, but I never felt it. Bryce Dallas Howard and Sam Rockwell are amazing actors, but something about their performance just felt flat. The only performance I enjoyed was probably Bryan Cranston because he was giving it his all in this movie, but only he can do soo much with his character being one note.

With that said, the action scenes are really well done. Sure there are some CGI in there, but at least I can follow the action. From the choreography, to the set designs, to the production value it isn't bad. There was clearly love put into this movie, but even I felt exhausted by the end of the movie.

5.5/10

It taking place in the Kingsman universe was a really big surprise though. I understand why the marketing didn't reveal it other than itb being done by the same director.
