I'll paraphrase what I said in the other topic: Turn-based combat isn't marketable, especially to casual audiences. The average gamer is going to look at footage of a turn-based RPG and unless there's some really unique element (branding with a specific IP, etc) that sets it apart, they're going to interpret it as "more weeb stuff where you spam a single button to win".

Mario RPG is a great example because it's a turn-based RPG with a unique timing mechanic that doesn't make the game boring as shit.

It won't sell as much as Call of duty, but the genre had multiple games that sold millions in the last years. Although Yakuza does have what you are saying
