I'm honestly surprised by the pro-euthenasia side of this debate. It's like some people have never heard of psychotic episode, treatable mental illness, or cognitive behavioral therapy.

In other words, oftentimes, but not every single time, suicidal people are caught up in their emotions, not thinking clearly, and forgotten who they are.

Euthanasia on demand is a bad idea, because in many situations those awful feelings will pass.

Furthermore, a lot of people who are suicidal are actually just crying for help.

It wouldnt be approved so quickly that those situations would come into play. The approval process would be very in depth and lengthy. Its not like someone who had one bad episode and is feeling off for a short period would make it through this.
