Topic	Sweet Home season 2... is terrible. (spoilers?)

That's not it at all. The show is based on a manhwa (Korean comic). The first season deviated from that story at times while still following most major story beats. But due to those deviations they had to come up with an entirely original story for season 2 and it's very clear the talent just wasn't there in the writing department .
