Cinderella
Elsa
Ariel
Jasmine

Snow White may be the original but if I'm thinking a princess, Cinderella is the better representation, complete with Disney using her for everything marketing to this day with their logo and theme park. People think of Snow White in her more regular clothes, yellow skirt, dwarves, and all that; people think castle, the dress, and royalty with Cinderella in large part due to Disney marketing. It's also just plain the better known Grimm story which helps with the "ACTUALLY..." crowd.

Elsa is the same thing only modern day, a musical, and no Grimm story.

Ariel for starting the Disney princess trend in the 90s and her entire story is literally "I'm a princess."

Jasmine because she picked up where Ariel left off, complete with "I'm a princess" as the entire plot of the story, but expanded in a way the others didn't: success in television, fashion, and sequels. Sure they tried a little mermaid tv show but that didn't really take off the same way and was like a third of episodes and wasn't nearly as popular. And sure they had other sequels but Return of Jafar is the biggest sequel people remember and like universally. And then you get to wider culture and, well, off the shoulder + midriff exposed may be a 90s look but Jasmine made every girl want to wear that too. So while Ariel took the 90s Disney princess stage, Jasmine refined it and found greater success.
