You don't even have to eat better. I'd like to see the difference eating 300 calories of garbage vs 300 calories of "clean" stuff does. Functionally to losing weight as in just dropping pounds not in terms of ease it doesn't seem like it makes a difference. What DOES make a difference is drinking 300 calories of soda doesn't make you feel full at all, while eating 300 calories of pure protein DOES. And that helps you to lose weight because in the end you're keeping your calorie count low. If you drink 300 calories of soda and don't feel full, what are you going to do? EAT MORE, ingest MORE calories. Whereas with the 300 calories of pure protein will leave you feeling sated.

Diet can make a difference, but the end result is always calories in calories out. Exercise can trump a shit diet, but it can't trump a shit diet where you're always eating because you don't feel full. Same for if you technically eat 1500 calories of shit food every day you WILL lose weight, but it won't help in the long run as you continuously feel starved and will inevitably eat more to sate yourself. But if you do eat 1500 calories of good food, you will feel sated and won't feel the need to cheat.

This is honestly the biggest difference maker. Exercise well, eat foods that do make you feel full, and COUNT YOUR CALORIES down to the fucking gram with a scale. lNone of this "estimate" shit. 8 nuggets is not the same as 100 grams of nuggets. 8 nuggets can be 200-400 calories while 100 grams of nuggets is ALWAYS 300 calories.


Nobody has time for this kind of shit.
