No child should have to struggle for normalcy.
What is normalcy? What is normal living for someone with a disability may be different from someone without a disability.

Why would I risk a 33% chance of my child losing the ability to walk, talk normally, and function by adulthood?

Pre-implantation screening.
Do you carry the genes that are associated with a disability? I know that some people who do carry genes that may pass on a disability are hesitant to engage in making babies for that reason.

Usually how far into the pregnancy are u able to find out about whether its going to have a disability or not?
Google says first trimester, but I'm not an expert and look beyond that. Results also say that not all things are necessarily detectable.
