Most homeowners aren't millionaires. Do you live in one of those super HCOL areas?

I refuse to live under an HOA after handling claims involving them at work and seeing what they do. I was lucky enough to get a house in a non-HOA neighborhood so that was great. It would be nice to have my neighborhood have more cohesive greenery all over and stuff to look nicer but I'd rather live on a street with a guy who has 18 broken down cars parked around his house then deal with an HOA.

Did you at least buy a top floor condo? Or is it side by side?

Side by side, I believe. Second floor. Plus, within waking distance of work, which is great.

Luckily, I dont love in a HCOL area, so I got this for a good price. Minnesota is still affordable thankfully, while still have a strong economy. I genuinely think our weather will keep us from ever being gentrified the way some other states have.
