It's actually discouraged me from playing games that I might otherwise have played, like the later Dragon Quest games (his art style was less obvious in the earlier games, when they were using NES graphics, but the newer games make it very on-model and very visibly his work). I wish we got something similar with Amano... nothing looks like the watercolours and promo art in the actual Final Fantasy games, although ff6 comes close some times --- "Salt cures Everything!"
