| Robazoid 11/26/23 2:59:42 AM #383: | Anyway, today I continued my "villainess" trend and watched The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior. I didn't like it as much as Endo and Kobayashi, but it was still a solid anime. The setting was decent with all the different magic abilities, and Pride was a good character trying to do her best. My biggest complaint was that she acted like it was inevitable that she would eventually turn into an evil queen and need to be killed. It'd be one thing if she was shown constantly struggling against her inherent evil nature or something, but she was fully in control of herself at all times with no sign of nefarious influence. She was also a total sweetheart who always tried to do the right thing. Why are you still assuming there will be a bad end? Other than that minor conceptual problem, I enjoyed this.
