going to totally ignore the cited preferences and talk about favourites of mine in an attempt to convert

Yama no Susume (if you pretend its non-full length episodes (aka. most seasons) don't equate to single episodes and you pretend a series that started at the start of 2013 counts as in the last ten years lol.)

Non Non Biyori (barely counts for date too lol but it's the tied best longform iyashikei series of the last decade with the above show (before anyone brings up yurucamp or girls last tour they are just not this good sorry. i will say that they, as well as other series like mitsuboshi colors, amanchu, hakumei to mikochi, flying witch and kemono friends s1 are still quite solid though))

Hibike! Euphonium (it's kind of not perfect, but factoring in masterpieces like the liz and the blue bird film that are a part of it, it's completely obligatory to bring up)

Pop Team Epic (it's peak)

Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju (masterpiece)

Wake Up Girls (at least before the last season anyway, it was honestly probably my pick for the best idol anime within this timeframe, and i saw about 30 of them including several i am really into. but yeah last season is very ungood, self-contained and fully worth skipping)

selector infected/spread/destructed WIXOSS (the lostorage WIXOSS series that followed them were effectively a separate thing, a bad imitation of these seasons)

the Japan Animator Expo shorts (are definitely not a "proper" series but still)

most of the like 5 anime on amazon prime lol i'd say are must-watches tbh
