But someday it's going to happen. And this would be the first time it would actually harm us. It's happened countless times in the past, pre electronic civilization it also sounds like it could be prevented with infrastructure changes. The more likely outcome is a brown out that makes us more aware of the threat, and then we gradually invest in infrastructure changes because of it. I think a complete and total obliteration of our network is the least likely outcome.
