While they are both turn-based, there's plenty of differences from the amount of units you can control, combat versatility and options, roleplaying aspects, and graphics/art direction that makes them vastly different gameplay experiences. I guess so, but Borderlands and CoD are both FPS and they are very different games and feel different.
