I'm glad we covered this album, even if it isn't my thing - I haven't listened to a ton of Brazilian music although I have a few MPB (Brazilian pop) tracks that I adore. This doesn't feel quite as poppy or focused on the instruments as the stuff I do like, and it's hard to click with the lyrics for obvious reasons when you don't know the language. My rankings feel a little arbitrary as a result, and very little wormed its way into my brain even after a couple listens. Still, it's fun to listen to music I would never otherwise run into!
