Topic	Mortal Kombat Fatality Ranking: Test Your Might!

Shirai Ryu Annihilation (Scorpion, UMK3) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y9Phcg_z0F8 The build-up to this fatality is a 10/10, one of the best in the entire series. Even the successor to this fatality in MK1 pales in comparison in that department! The musical stings are simply divine. Scorpions Shirai Ryu homies move in and fade to black ruins this potential banger. Even fading back in after the action so we can see the opponents remains could have redeemed it somewhat! That this still managed to rank over 84 other fatalities (it was beating Sub Zeros fade to black no matter what) reflects on how good the build-up is. 454. Torso Kick (Johnny Cage, MKT) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CSaI9qdc8-0 The animation on this one isnt very good, with Johnny taking a chunk out of the opponents torso, but it did make me laugh, especially after the upper body fell and balanced on the feet. 453. Missile Strike (Sektor, MKTE) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GnnoX4DXE3Q This starts out like the other combo fatalities from this game, but it takes a big step up when Sektor backflips and blasts the opponent with a missile! This one is a good example of how finishing strong can boost an otherwise underwhelming fatality. 452. Focused Fireball (Liu Kang, MKD) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQDHupznyRg Is Liu Kang also draining energy from his opponent to charge this fireball? Whatever hes doing, it clearly worked! Its such a shame that the chains zombie Liu Kang has werent incorporated into his gameplay, probably because the living alternate costume doesnt have them or anything that could be used as an equivalent. They would have been so cool! The opening of Armageddon taunts us with the possibility of what could have been. 451. Sword Plant (Shujinko, MKD) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Pnfe5hJfkQ Shujinko has two swords in his fatalities, even though he only uses one in gameplay. I dont get why thats the case, since there were characters who could dual wield weapons. Anyway, the beheading is nothing special, but using the opponent as a knife rack is more original. I wonder if he took the body home and put it next to his coat rack or hat stand? --- Call from demon - with dark power to tempt your mind, very proud of the power.
