| Kitt 11/11/23 2:12:33 PM #20: | MK nowadays is a bit strange to me. Since MK9, the games come off as very Saturday morning cartoon-ish in the writing and presentation (not meant as a diss; I really like that MK never really took itself very seriously).
But with MK being MK, they have to go over-the-top with the gore and the way people are being killed, and it feels like it sort of clashes with the (mostly) lighthearted tone when you're playing through the stories of these games.
