oh I don't know if we have a topic for this but SAG-AFTRA deal approved This movie 100% got hit by actors not being able to do promotion and the timing almost does not seem coincidental haha. The studios are full of people who dont know what theyre doing. Glad SAG-AFTRA got what sounds like a big win. Speaking of studios not knowing what theyre doing, The Marvels is now (just) fresh on RT at 60% positive. Tracking seems to have improved somewhat now that reactions are out. With the way they hid the film from the public eye they made it seem like they had a gigantic turkey on their hands and instead the film seems actually fine? After alls said and done this is going to be seen as a master class on how not to market a film. The good news is, I can see it opening night without having to worry about a bad audience because my local cinema is so empty!
