this song has a progression that's really cool. the way it expands and expands upon itself but doesn't come across as repetitive until it hits a state of calm and evens out. right before going at it again but with more variation. an incredibly zen track.

really fond of how dark this one is. though it isn't as in your face about it as like the corru songs from yesterday. also, kind of zen in its own way too! that percussion is mega tasty.

nice mournful intro and some really nice hints of percussion. like candle hill, this one really ramps it up in the latter half after a chill intro. also a good choice.

wow i didn't expect something so high energy! this one is probably a "safer" pick, id reckon. wait, oh, hey i know this one! nice.

a very magical and slow piece. sounds a bit smoky? almost?? its nice as it expands, the strings are a really, really nice touch especially. i think it could be a minute or so shorter, but still great.

fm mixes can be a hit or a miss, but right out the gate, this one clicks with me. big thrilling sound that hits like a truck.

i actually listened to the entire wavetale ost because of vgmc, so it was interesting to revisit in another contest setting. im a little surprised i didn't support this set come to think of it ... quite enjoyed the neverawake set too.
