hating non-supes isn't a stretch for Sam to that point. it's not like there was ever a time he was actually pro-normie and switched, he's even shown to already be incredibly violent killing them in self-defence. in some regard it's actually a pretty apt portrayal of people getting into quick infatuations without actually knowing someone's true beliefs yet - like I said Emma & Sam have only known each other for a couple days despite idealizing each other so fast. in contrast you have Marie & Jordan who've known each other a bit more but are going at more normal, slow pace
