But my brother is a bigger fan and I'm a bit sour on some of the space-shooter ones, because before he eventually got gud with them, it was up to me to do so and some of those games were not fun to get the good ending on. Thunder Force V in particular was pretty grating. Some later UN Squadron stages were annoying too. If we include rail shooters, well, who doesn't love Star Fox 64? Sin & Punishment on the Wii was good too, despite being fairly long to play through in one sitting and being balls hard because someone told Treasure that they wanted it harder. ...
